As the year wraps up, people tend to reflect on how they spent the last 365 days and how to improve themselves. It’s also a perfect time for businesses to do the same.
An honest assessment of the year’s training and meetings can really help refresh and improve the effectiveness of those who work in HR, corporate training or meeting planning. Even if some of your work gets poor reviews, the insights will make the next year’s efforts more effective.
We created a template to help you collect feedback from your team. It asks questions like:
What type of training works best for you?
B) Onsite, in-person
C) Offsite, in-person
D) After hours (such as classes at a local community college or evening seminars)
On a scale from 1-10, how much did our [insert a training program] help you grow professionally this year? (1 is “Not at all”, 10 is “As much as I hoped for”)

Our Recommendation: If you work at a small company, the Word Doc alone will probably suffice. But if your company is bigger, try using a free online survey tool like SurveyMonkey to collect answers. It will save you a lot of time by compiling the data for you.
